03102013528
WHY ? because i have usb keyboard that is nice for me and a standard mouse … i use them when i am at home and i hate the laptop keyboard…and of couse i hate the touchpad…
well i have a cat that likes my laptop … -.-‘

OK YOU NEED TO DISABLE THE FUCKING TOUCHPAD AND MAYBE THE INTERNAL KEYBOARD ?

type in a terminal

 xinput --list

you will see

Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech USB Optical Mouse id=11 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Sony Vaio Keys id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Video Bus id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Power Button id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ USB2.0 Camera id=13 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=14 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ NOVATEK USB Keyboard id=12 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ NOVATEK USB Keyboard id=15 [slave keyboard (3)]

as you can see there a lots of stuff here but …. i need to disable

AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=14
SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad id=10

well for touchpad was not a pain to understand which id i had to disable, but for keyboard ya it was a pain … anyway if one sees very well at the code the only one that makes sense it’s the set2 keyboard…

so we need to disable id 14 and 10

Touchpad

xinput set-int-prop 10 "Device Enabled" 8 0

the code to ENABLE AGAIN

xinput set-int-prop 10 "Device Enabled" 8 1

for the keyboard it’s the same but with id 14 so …

KEYBOARD

Disable

xinput set-int-prop 14 "Device Enabled" 8 0

Enable

xinput set-int-prop 14 "Device Enabled" 8 1

IF YOU REBOOT THIS CODE WILL NOT LOADED SO YOU WILL GET THE SAME SITUATION OF THE START … IF YOU NEED TO DISABLE THEM PERMANENTLY YOU NEED JUST TO CREATE A SCRIPT … WITH THE LINES OF BEFORE AND PUT IT ON $HOME/.kde/Autostart/ or use the module on systemsettings …
autostart
